USQ 40th Anniversary

 Venue 2007

ACIS2007 will take place at the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, 130 km west of Brisbane. As Australia’s largest inland provincial city, Toowoomba embraces today’s modern culture with cafes, entertainment and nightlife and offers a fresh easy-living environment worthy of exploration.

Breathe in the fresh mountain air and marvel at the workings of Mother Nature as Toowoomba embraces each season with an amazing display of colours and textures.

Toowoomba is the hub of the Darling Downs, with fine wines, gourmet dining experiences, fresh local produce, high arts and entertainment, events and festivals, boutique and specialty retail outlets, markets, antiques and much more.

Toowoomba truly has something to offer everyone. So take your time to look around and you’ll soon find out that there’s more to this ‘Garden City’ than meets the eye…

Want to know more about Toowoomba, go to: www.toowoomba.qld.gov.au

How do I get there?

Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Blue operate regular services throughout the day to Brisbane Airport, which is less than two hours drive from Toowoomba.

Regular coach connections are available directly from Brisbane Airport to Toowoomba. Whilst this excludes Saturday, alternate bus services are then available hubbing through the Brisbane Coach Terminal.

Cars leaving Brisbane Airport should take the Gateway Arterial South following signs to Ipswich and then Toowoomba.

The University is to the south of the City and is clearly signposted once you reach the top of the range.
